"This property lacks nothing - spacious, comfortable with everything you could ever need for a fabulous stay. The views of the deer each morning are delightful and Twix and Bounty (sheep which look like goats in the field) are lovely and will delight your children. "The gite was tastefully decorated and had all the equipment you need. We visited in a heat wave and the gite was nice and cool and a has a huge bathroom / walk in shower. Lovely terrace outside which gives privacy from neighbours. Matthieu lives opposite and was on hand for anything we needed but not at all intrusive. Also lots of lovely forests nearby to walk or cycle in and it's near enough to the German border to easily have a day in Germany."

We had fresh pastries delivered to start the day; petanque, shooting hoops and wine on the terrace to end the day. "Really nice location with a great view. Some utilities upgrade would be welcomed - iron board but no iron. No large knives, just three tiny ones to cut (good luck with Watermon). Swimming pool amazing and clean. Pascale very welcoming. Badminton racquets could also be replaced, as all had snapped strings. Not too far away from Vin de Alsace route - half an hour drive.."

"Rooms were basic but clean and with enough kitchen facilities to do simple self-catering. Just 10 minutes walk from the station and about 15 into the city. I had feared the worst after reading reviews about how noisy it was. Clearly this must have been due to the other guests staying at the time, as it was almost unnaturally quiet during my stay. I was also lucky to get a room overlooking a side street."
