Great home with plenty of room. Master has queen bed. BR 2 has a queen and a twin. The third BR has 2 twins. Plus a futon and queen size hide a bed sofa in the living room.

Fully stocked kitchen, including microwave and a dish washer. Eat in kitchen plus a dining room, with a Washer/Dryer adjacent to the kitchen.

Great outdoor space. Covered front deck with swing and rockers. Screened in porch on the back with Adirondack chairs and a glider. Fire pit in backyard. Grill and picnic table in the front.

Great room has seating area with 3 recliners and a couch. Separate area has desk and futon. Big room. Spectrum cable, Wi-Fi. All the comforts of home!

Interior is renovated. All new paint & new flooring in 2018. Lake pictures on this site are canvas pictures that decorate the cabin.

Fish cleaning station has light, is screened in (not that there are bugs at Reelfoot!). Power plug under the station.

Parking on front and covered car port in back, with room for 5 cars or 4 with a boat and trailer.

This property is located across the street from the lake, so llimited lake view. Public boat ramp is located down the street for easy access Pet friendly but please limit to two.

Name on the front sign is Doppio Largo. That is an inside family joke, but helps identify the place.

We checked in on a Thursday for our annual fishing trip and could not have been more happier with the house. The entire property was very neat and clean and had everything that we would possibly need during our stay. I can not say enough good things about this place so book it if you have the chance and you won't be disappointed.

4th of July Stay
We booked this property for our family’s 4th of July weekend stay. This accommodated a large group much better than a campsite could have. We comfortably slept 6 (plus our Chihuahua) with room to spare. The house was clean with all the amenities you could want. We made good use of the front porch, as well as the screened in back porch, as we had visitors come and go during our two days there. Saturday my 4 year old niece got to experience her first ice cream truck on Lake Drive! We absolutely love the area and the street is quiet. The property manager (Elizabeth) is fantastic. She made sure that we got to see fireworks on the lake even though this property is on the other side of the road facing the lake. If you are considering booking this house for a stay…don’t hesitate! It is well worth it!

This was just what we were looking for.
My wife, 4 year old son, and I stayed at Hornbeak cabin last weekend. It really was just what we were looking for. Quiet, with a secluded feel even though it was on a street full of houses/cabins. It seemed like most of them are vacation homes and there were far fewer people than houses. The cabin was clean and spacious. It came equipped with everything that we needed including some things we hadn't thought about. The two porches are comfortable and each has it's own benefits. This is a great place to relax. The only thing that I wish was different is that the cabin is on the other side of the road from the lake. And even though we were incredibly close to the lake it really didn't feel like it because there were not a lot of good lake views. Having said that, there are some places in walking distance where you can see the lake. And within a 3-5 minute drive in either direction there are several state parks and places to access the lake. My family would visit this cabin again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend it.
