“If ever I were to own a cabin, it would be of the design of this one. Rustic feel with solid and complete foundational amenities. Greats: cathedral ceiling/loft/windows, large porch, bbq, wood stove, no TV, solid internet, great shower and bathroom, firm and comfortable mattresses. Nit-picky cons: jacuzzi isn't really a traditional hot tub, 30 min drive to/from Ashland on a very winding (yet picturesque) road, check-out time of 10am with $35 fee to extend to noon. “My daughter recommended Stratford Inn and I'm glad I took her advice. The desk clerk was helpful as well as professional. My room was on the 2nd floor, and he offered a cart, similar to those at airports, to more easily move my belongings upstairs via the elevator. My bed was comfortable and the room clean and well appointed. Breakfast was varied and healthy, and checkout a breeze.”
