“This place was amazing! Clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. You can't get a better view of Mt. Shasta and about 10 minutes to McCloud falls. Only downside was the town only has places to eat Thursday thru Sunday but Shasta and Dunsmire is pretty close. ”

“This place was well kept and beautiful in a private wooded area that is located close to so many beautiful sites! The property was clean and the house was very informative and helpful! We loved the wood stove.”

“We absolutely loved this place. The cabin itself is very cute and the setting is beautiful and relaxing. There are train tracks nearby and our young son absolutely LOVED watching the trains from the front window. After seeing the back area and the river itself I really wish I had brought my fishing gear. We will most definitely be back!”

“Overall, the property looks great, although, we didn't utilize any of the amenities since we were only staying one night. Something I wish I'd realized ahead of time is that for these particular cabins, there is only enough hot water for a 5 minute shower. The welcome packet says to limit showers to 10 minutes but in my experience, the hot water lasted about 5 minutes. The bathroom is pretty small, but has everything you'd need. “I loved my stay at Basecamp Lodge (Mount Shasta). I especially appreciated the quietness, beautiful decor, and fully stocked kitchen. The hosts are well organized and reached out on a regular basis making me feel welcome and confident of my stay. “We stayed in the modern cabin. Very nice! Had everything we needed, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. I would have liked a blanket for the couch. They had sweet lights strung around, nice touch. “My family of four spent the weekend in Mt Shasta. I would highly recommend this condo. The location is excellent, it is well maintained. The two-bedrooms and the living room are just the right size. The twin beds in the 2nd bedroom made it comfortable for our teens. And the well-designed kitchen added to the joy of our visit to the area as it gave us freedom to cook our own breakfast and dinner.”
