"We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. "

"Very peaceful week spent at a truly lovely location. The villa was comfortable had all required equipment and was very clean. The swimming pools and restaurant were excellent and the food was very tasty, the restaurant was very accommodating of changes to the menu and allergens.The location for us was perfect, quiet and tranquil meaning we could truly rest and relax.My only problems were the patio door which was bent and difficult to open and the fridge which had been turned off! "The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. Map apps and a GPS do not recognize the exact location of the cottage. It took us a long time to find the cottage. Sykes Cottages list the cottage to have a washer (there...
