“This is a decent property in a good location with easy parking on-site. But beware: it has almost no internet access and not great mobile reception either. Thick stone walls and facing the harbour means it lacks line-of-site to mobile towers. My modern phone worked, but data speeds were poor inside the apartment. The provided "wifi" consists of a dinky 4G hotspot which sometimes worked ar 1990s speeds: kilobits/sec. But mostly it didn't work at all. No other complaints, but lack of internet……

“We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. ”

“What a wonderful gem! The accommodation is as lovely as the pictures show. Very clean and spacious and has everything you need including some outdoor space.
