“We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. ”

“I spent a week here in early September and was very impressed.In terms of location, it's about a 10-minute walk to the town centre and a further 5 minutes to the bus & rail stations. “The location of this property was nice, we loved the hot tub and the open space around the hut. The Star pub down the road was great and the Spar supermarket was handy. Unfortunately there were several things that detracted from this stay. “What a wonderful gem! The accommodation is as lovely as the pictures show. Very clean and spacious and has everything you need including some outdoor space.
