"Very central, east walking distance to Hall for Cornwall the Cathedral , shops and restaurants. .Extremely comfortable well cared for room, well decorated and spacious. We loved the extras such as home made cake on arrival, good quality coffee bags in the room and access to a complimentary coffee/chocolate machine during the day. There was a great choice of fruit for breakfast. "

"We enjoyed our stay, the pet friendly caravan was clean and tidy with a comfortable lounge area, decent kitchen space with dining table for 4. The main double bedroom has a large wardrobe and an ensuite. There was another twin bedroom with a main bathroom. We had nice views out over the hills and there is a large field for dog walkers. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the check in was quick and simple. There is no wifi in the caravan but it is available in the restaurant and public areas. The bar and restaurant was ok, the food was nice but we thought it lacked atmosphere and we had to wait quite a while for the barmaid to make an appearance to serve us. All in all though we had a pleasant stay and found it an ideal base for exploring Cornwall!"

"We booked a 2 night stay, with our daughter in order to be at a close friend's funeral service and wake. The hotel is ideally located to appreciate the view across the water, and to watch the comings and goings in the bay. The staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The public areas and therooms are lovely and clean. Parts of the hotel are ready for being refurbishment (which is about to take place) but it would be a shame if the whole project loses all of the period atmosphere of the present building. The bar was comfortable and the barman (owner/manager??) was very personable and amusing. In fact, all of the staff made us feel really welcome and were encouraging us to return after the refurbishment has been completed. "
