The bed in the bedroom alone droops in the middle bad like a taco, but the bedding was clean and we slept alright, just woke up smooshed to each other. There was sand all over the coffee table and floor, but maybe that's to be expected that close to the beach. It rained pretty hard while we were there and the bedroom with 2 beds in it got some water in it, not sure how, the windows were closed. Over place made for a good quick……

“This apartment is part of the home of Bill and Tiffany. They communicated clearly a few days before arrival of how to enter the apartment. It is decorated just charmingly. It is very clean and well stocked. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Anything we needed, Bill was quick to supply, such as a fan for sleeping (it's what we're used to!), an extra floor heater for an unusually cold rainy day. Tiffany made us a loaf of some kind of pumpkin bread I think it was. It was the best I've ever……

“Great property. Bath towels were a little scarce but sufficient for 2. Heating instructions were absent and when contacted the host we could not turn on the pilot after given instructions, there was no response. Overall fantastic place snd would stay there again!”

Everything we needed for cooking was provided, there was a nice swing on the patio by the garden, a small outdoor eating area in the sunshine, and laundry facilities. The rooms were tastefully furnished and of a good size (though not quite as large as the photo suggests). The unit was lovely- clean, and tastefully decorated, the bed is comfortable and it was stocked with everything you could need. In an easy location to walk to the Convention Center / waterfront and just a few blocks off Gaslamp Quarter with restaurants and nightlife. As noted in the ad, there is a significant presence of unhoused individuals in the area; I had no issues walking around in……

“Beautiful location, short walk to the beach and Boardwalk. There is a little grocery store nearby which is ok in a pinch, but it’s expensive and not super well stocked. Best to pick up your groceries in the shopping district (which is about an hour walk along the boardwalk or an 8 mins Uber ride). I loved Mission Beach and this little apartment was very reasonably priced, excellent location and well stocked.”
