"** warning - construction directly outside ** One bedroom apartment, quite basic. Only 1 bedside table in the bedroom which was annoying. No spare sheets given for the sofa bed, had to call front desk to set it up for us, they had missed it prior to check in (note you can't easily turn it back I to a sofa so be aware) The walls/ doors are VERY thin - we could hear normal conversation from another room in our room with the doors shut! Pool not heated so very cold, we didn't use it but the outdoor seating area was nice. Big issue is there is A LOT of construction directly next to the hotel, with diggers from 0700 exactly every day until mid afternoon. Luckily we have a kid so up early, but would be hideous for people who can sleep in! Breakfast was basic but fine. Staff were LOVELY, very helpful and welcoming Tip - use the dryers on -1 floor (cost €2 coin) and can dry your towels as there is nowhere to dry them in the room"

"Stayed five nights with family whilst attending a wedding. Ronaldo was great at check-in and most helpful. Rooms are spacious and well equipped with iron, hair dryer, slippers and robes. Restaurant offers great choice of food and drink with plenty of staff available to serve and clear up. Had a sea view room with view of pools and then bay. Overall can fault the hotel. Just a shame about all the building works in the vicinity but otherwise an enjoyable stay. May have had a slightly conscientious room maid for our son's room who seemed to have thrown away a bottle cap for one of his creams and plastic sleeves for a couple of his clothing items, but otherwise rooms were cleaned well."

"Breakfast is amazing and very friendly staff through out the hotel. The gym is a commercial one open to the public which means it was very well equipped and maintained, suitable for every type of gym user. The gym also has an indoor pool which we did not use so cannot comment on it. We had a room on the 6th floor with a view of the harbour and Valletta. The room was cleaned daily and refreshments (tea and coffee) replenished daily. Some of the rooms on the front of the hotel looked like they were in the shade all day and a view of the building in front. The outdoor pool looks like a rooftop pool from the pictures but is at sea level. This was not an issue and was excellent just thought it was going to be a roof top pool. Also, the outdoor pool does not belong to the hotel but is privately owned ‘Manta’ and only a limited number of beds are allocated to hotel guest. These beds are free to use but have to be booked the day before. The ‘Manta’ is an excellent venue we had snacks and poolside drinks there everyday, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall the whole facility is well run and managed, the combination of hotel owned and privately owned facilities makes for an excellent 5 star experience. Thoroughly recommend. Will be returning when we can "

"Had our own Airport transportation sorted privately through Expedia. Very easy to find and efficient. The Hotel stay was really great. The staff, super helpful and efficient, Julia and Smriti both went over and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Julia suggested ideas for places to visit and helped us with our travel admin. Smriti dealt with our transfer details for the airport, even taking us to the collection point for the cab. Thank you ladies for your dedication and commitment to your work . The room was lovely and clean, the breakfast also very tasty and had everything you could ever want. Well done Hotel Palozzo Rosaria Boutique. A BIG thank you all round!!!"

"Left my credit card at the front desk when charged the $2 tax and it was stolen. Luckily my card company caught the first charge as fraud but disappointed that the hotel kept and lost the card. Beyond that hotel lobby was small and chaotic, elevator was slow, AC was broken. Not as expected."
