Contradictory experience
Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. It was late when we arrived.We got a taxi from the airport for 14. Alice had kindly bought us bread, cheese, ham, butter and water so that we didn't have to go looking for the 24hr supermarket when we arrived. We loved the location looking onto the bay.
