Unit Fine - Check in a Disaster
Had a really terrible check-in experience. Arrived at night from a long day of flying to find a few piles of dirty/stained towels and robes. Ok, housekeeping mistake - not a big deal. Then realized the promised crib, which was confirmed earlier that day, was missing. For anyone with a toddler, this was a potential disaster. We reached out to the property manager via text and it seemed she couldn't care less. Not only was she not interested in solving our problems, but she decided to disappear mid conversation (I literally watched a text bubble appear and then go away) and leave us to fend for ourselves. Like she was bored or something. Had to beg the front desk (who had nothing to do with this condo) to locate one which finally showed up around midnight. Our sleep was completely ruined and the next day was shot as well dealing with a sleep deprived baby. After two days of arguing the owner finally decided to comp us a cleaning charge which honestly felt offensive given the situation. A real hotel would have waived that first night and not argued the entire time. The unit was fine - the building had a great location, but this Company, specifically the on-site manager, needs a serious lesson in hospitality. Oh, and the dirty towels and robes were never replaced - big surprise.
