“Amy and Paul were excellent hosts! They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From story telling to sharing meals it was a true western experience. The bonfire and hot tub were nice to relax by at the end of the night. This is a great place to stay for anyone looking to get out of the city and meet some amazing animals and hosts!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Deer Meadow Lodge! The cabin was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. It fit our family of six perfectly and had plenty of space for everyone. We especially loved the outdoor décor throughout the house—it really added to the cozy Black Hills feel. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and it was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The host made everything easy and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again! ”

“Very cute cabin but they need better mattresses. The beds were terrible and our backs hurt. Memory foam mattresses are cheap and go a long way. Other than that, our one night stay was just fine. ”

“The cabin was very cozy, and well equipped with a full kitchen including a coffee maker. We were close to Mt Rushmore, downtown Rapid City, Custer State Park, and the Air Museum at Ellsworth AFB. The Badlands were a bit more of a haul, but easily accessible as a day trip. Restaurants and stores were 5-15 minutes away based on what you wanted.Jeff was great to communicate with, and gave us clear directions on getting to and accessing the property. We even got to see deer and wild turkey……
