We had numerous issues with the power in the rooms, management knew of the problem and really showed zero concern. Wife was never able to curl or flat iron her hair in the bathroom. The maintenance guy told us not to use the coffee machine or it will trip the GFI again and again. The safe in the room did not work, something to do with a programming issue, management was not concerned whatsoever about the safes either. They charge a Resort Fee yet the pool was closed for repairs and upgrades. When we stay at JW Marriots or properties with amenities they are very welcoming to our concerns and will rebate back to us something showing that they acknowledge the issue and make it right, not Newport Harbour Resort. They must be under new management it was made very obvious they were struggling and were not going to credit back anything or even acknowledge they had several issues. Seemed desperate for cash to me, or management has been instructed to not give in, in any form or fashion. Check out time was 12:00 no exceptions, even though we had all of these issues, they still were not willing to give an inch. We will never return to this property and will make it a point to make sure that every one we cross will know their horrible customer service and issues.
