This time my wife and I did not have our usual companion, our Border Terrier with us as we had been attending a wedding. We would love to use the hotel again, but. as there is a no pets policy, then this unlikely to happen.
The refurbished bathroom with walk in shower was excellent with one little fault - the rain shower head really needs to extend further into the shower cubicle!”
“First time I have ever stayed with this group of hotels i was impressed, besides the carpet and the hallway and stairwell otherwise everything was perfect.”
“When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen.
The wiring in the property is very precarious with one of the light fittings dangling precariously from a plastic junction.

“Booked on the spur of the moment.
Excellent price. Fabulous clean room.
Large bathroom with corner bath and powerful shower. Lots of hot water, clean white fluffy towels. We upgraded to King size bed, patio doors to outside decked veranda. Fabulous in the warm weather.
Next door to the pub and restaurant.
Excellent food, good menu both evening meal and breakfast.
Couples only at the moment.
Well worth it. Would definitely stay again.

“On entering the property we was greeted by the reception staff they were very friendly and helpful, they made our short stay feel at ease, had everything we needed and the owner was so polite even carried my bag upstairs and said anything we need just ask. Really can’t fault our room was lovely felt homely & cosy, the area was nice & quiet. Highly recommend this place. We had the family room as it was the last one left for us to book & was a great size room. 10/10 ”
“14 June 2night stay greeted by hoist room clean parking good bed excellent hot water but slow to fill bath would have liked a bigger tv but only watched it a couple of hours over the stay met MR CASH at the second pub just a few minutes walk from our hotel made us extremely welcome good beer the customers showed us we’re to get bus into Newcastle big question would I stay hear again YES Would I recommend it.
