“The Shady Lawn Inn is a wonderful place to stay. It's in the heart of Newland, NC, a small town with a cool vibe. Shady Lawn Inn was my home for 10 days because of car trouble. “We got to the motel around 8 PM Saturday night 5/16. I told the front desk that we were there to check in and made our reservations via Expedia. “This might be my new favorite place to stay!! It has been beautifully restored, employs friendly and helpful staff and provides the thickest bath towels ever!!!
