"This was a cute, cozy unit. There are stairs to get to the unit, and sometimes the outside is icy, but snow and ice might be the reason for your visit! The kitchen is remodeled, the sofa is comfy. There is a fireplace. Bonus- There's a washer and dryer.Wifi works! What else do you need?"

"So I don’t want to blow up a huge expectation and maybe you would be disappointed but we really loved this place. We stayed in the minimal tent accommodations as we like it that way and the experience was HUGE with the common area and other tents and campers along the creek with the water always singing the relaxing sounds creeks make. The stars were super bright at night and the AT trail a mile away is challenging and invigorating. Ask about the water fall swimming hole a few miles past the AT....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night visit to Black Mountain, and couldn’t have been happier with this cottage! Everything we needed was there — and it’s SO clean😀! After daily hikes and touring the town, we relaxed each evening with a glass of wine on the front porch. Super dog friendly house with tons of great walks. The neighborhood is quiet despite being right next to the downtown shops & restaurants. Loved every minute!"

Peaceful Cottage Retreat in the Foothills – Near Boone, Blowing Rock & Asheville
2.0 star property

"Comfortable and clean. Apartment was as advertised. However there were a few issues to address. First, this is a garage apartment and has no carbon monoxide detectors. The parking area is on an incline. The shortest distance to the entrance steps is down the slight incline on unlevel ground ( soft dirt, roots and limbs), making it difficult for older people to traverse. The alternative is to go around using the main drive way which about four times as far. We were able to use the main drive to...

"The stay was in a great location. The space was very roomy. The shower nozzle was a bit tricky to figure out. The host was responsive. However, when I arrived it was not unwelcoming. The bathroom was not clean. The toilet was brown and hadn't been flushed and there was hair all over the sink. There were spider webs and spiders in the corners so hadn't been dusted recently. There was hair on the coasters and other areas too. It made me feel uncomfortable, like the whole place wasn't very clean. I...

"Decided on a last minute getaway and were lucky enough to find this little apartment A unit in an older home, very compact and clean .We walked to all food and drink options all weekend. A short drive to hike nearby Lookout Mountain on Friday morning. Safe location and I’d come here even as a single woman. Loved it and will be back! Note there are stairs and no elevator to our room but there were downstairs rooms. Pet friendly. Kitchenette and fridge. New shower in tiny bathroom. "

"This was the perfect location for my work commute, offering all the essentials of home! The walk-in closet was an added bonus, as well as having a washer and dryer conveniently within the suite! The location is quiet, and yet just blocks away from downtown Black Mountain restaurants and shopping for anyone wanting to explore the local area further. If it had been warmer weather, I would've also enjoyed the porch seating and swing! Maybe next time! Rebekah was quick to reply to messages, and...
