The view from the restaurant is incredible- but the “price” of the view is a VERY steep climb. Definitely note that reaching the hotel isn’t easy and involves a pretty steep climb (though that’s common for Positano). This wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be a huge issue for families with small kids or for anyone who wasn’t physically able to tackle A LOT of steep, uneven stairs every time they wanted to come or go from the hotel. The hotel’s location, also, required a 15-minute trek into town to visit the beaches, shops and restaurants. The food and drinks were outstanding, with a variety that pleased every palate. Its location near one of the main bus stops made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area, and the stunning views from the property were truly breathtaking. The staff were all friendly and excellent as well. The location was great for me because you weren’t too far from the Main Street and it is just a 12-15 minute was down the main road and down to where the port is. I will say- Expedia had our room wrong when we booked it. While booking, it said on the page the room had a private spa tub on the balcony however this was not the case when we arrived. We were told that wasn’t the room we booked. BUT, the hotel staff were so accommodating considering it was our last stop on our honeymoon. They put us in the room we had for the night but first thing in the morning once another room was empty and cleaned they moved us over to a room that had a spa tub inside ( not what we wanted but still was very nice) and they didn’t charge us more. The breakfast was also very good, coffee delicious! And we ordered room service - everything was very tasty.
