"The property was ideal for us, and it's wonderful that our dog was welcome, too. We found it very nicely decorated and clean, and it offered lots of great amenities. It was also in a perfect location for us, including being so close to the lake and to Durand Eastman Park. Plus, Jennifer was great about answering any questions we had, and doing so quickly. "My brother in law and I did have a confrontation with a guy off the street who should Not have been inside, we couldn’t understand what he wanted and he finally left ! I would not have wanted my Daughter to have had that problem! "

"Our experience was very good. We enjoyed our visit very much. Our room was cozy and welcoming. We had a few unique experiences that might help others to be aware of in the future. The hot water heater was very small which was fine, however, not knowing this we ran out of hot water during the first shower which left only cold water for my shower and we had a funeral to attend so that made it very inconvenient. Had we known we could have planned accordingly. Our second experience was that wiring fo one of the lights seemed to be connected incorrectly and sparks actually flew out of the wall (scary and definitely unexpected) when we touched the cord and it caused the breaker to switch to off turning off two walls of electric outlets and the tv. This was quickly addressed which we appreciated. Our villa did not have a paddle to move the water around in the hot tub and the thermometer didn’t appear to be working correctly. Keep a close eye on your water temp in the hot tub. Once it gets close to an acceptable temperature slow up on feeding your fire. The night we got it to a lovely temperature the hot tub feature was so lovely and the reason we booked at this unique property. Try some local restaurants. We went out for subs at Fork and Flame and a nice breakfast in the morning at Scrumpchies. I was hoping for a conversation about the electrical mishap in our room from the owners with some type of compensation but with the exception of that our time was enjoyable."

"Nice attendants but awful room. Room was in progress of renovation with a piece of broken furniture on the left, no working lamps until we requested them, and electrical not functioning on one side. Sticky substance on bedside table and on floor. Bed was decent, noise level okay. Did not complete stay. "

"Very comfortable hotel. It was next to the highway, but the soundproofing was excellent.The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the shower."
