Castle refuge in Geneva

"This is a HUGE apartment that is tastefully decorated with antiques and original artwork. I loved all the exposed brick and big windows in the master bedroom. The linens were very nice. It is conveniently located downtown and is across from City Hall and the post office. It's very easy to walk to all the downtown restaurants. I highly recommend this rental and will stay here again if I come back to Geneva. The only downside of being downtown is the early morning noise of delivery trucks (Monday...

Luxury lakefront apartment - and a pool! Pool open Memorial Day - Labor Day.
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (49)
"I have stayed in many, many short term rentals, and this was by far the best. I have nothing bad to say about any of it. Communication, cleanliness, exactly as described in the listing. But it was the special homey touches that pushed it over the top. The best stocked kitchen ever. I've gotten used to bringing my own special utensils, spices and even foil and baggies. Not only did they have a huge array of spices, foil and plastic wraps, they also had a shelf with a note that had take home...

2BR Historic Home in Geneva w/Fire pit
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"This was a fantastic spot to stay - highly recommend! The house is spacious, sweet, and even had spare yoga mats and cleaning spray. I had plenty of room to work in the little office nook, the couch was comfortable, and I slept like a baby. While I didn't get to try out the fire pit due to weather, it was set back and had a nice little sense of privacy to it. The true bonus was the friendly cats next door who dropped by occasionally for pets. The only odd part was a staircase that lead...

Goat Crazy Homestead

"So I never got check in details, messaged the host several hours before check in. Didn't hear anything. Showed up after check in time no one on the property. Called the host several times, no answer and voice mail was full. As I was walking the property another family showed up they had checked in the day before. While getting on the phone with vrbo the owner showed up and discovered that he had double booked. I am still waiting on his cancellation of my reservation and the return of my money...
