“My cousins and I very much enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Matteson’s rental cabin. It’s the perfect home base for a trip to Old Forge. It has everything you need - comfy beds, a nice bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, microwave, and regular coffee maker, and a fire pit. We were grateful for the air conditioning too. Bridget is a kind and responsive host. We hope to come back ASAP! :)”

“We stayed 3 nites.This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Very clean, Perfect amount of space, we prepared dinner on the grill 1st nite and we used the kitchen stove the 2nd nite. We liked the screened in porch. Good hangout for us and the dog. My husbanc had the knowledge to run the generator, the battery pack and all the other ways to maintain a great stay. I we come around again we would definately stay again. Thankyou and Peace”

“We had a great trip! The cabin was delightful. We had some questions and the owner was very responsive to messages. The lake access is difficult to get to because of the wetlands, but very much worth the effort. I recommend bringing rubber boots to get down the path. Otter Lake by canoe is just gorgeous!”

“Had a great time again at this cabin. We brought our neice with is this time and she loved her cozy little loft bed. There were a few things out of the host's control that happened before and during our stay, a power outage mainly, and Christine was very communicative and offered solutions. Great stay! ”

“Had a great time with a bunch of friends for the Eclipse. Property was nice and spacious, with plenty of activities in the house. Beautiful sky at night due to low light pollution.”

“High water and rain didn't dampen our moods when we had such great accommodations. We did have a break in the weather and were able to enjoy the kayaks and even had a fire at the beach before the next shower rolled in. Great getaway!”
