“The grain bin was so unique and bigger than it looks in the pictures. The beds were very comfortable! There were some games inside, books, DVD's, as well as a Roku you can sign into to watch your streaming services. The kids (ages 4, 8 and 13) all loved exploring around the property, playing corn hole and roasting marshmallows by the fire. There is a small local grocery store about 2 minutes away, but meat is pretty expensive there so I recommend at least bringing your own meat to cook, along...

“August 2025 family vacation was great the whiskey mountain Valley Cabins were amazing from check in to check out. Check-in was a breeze. The owners made it very easy and very straightforward with how to check in, they even let us know if that the cabin was ready way before our check in. The kitchen was great. They were fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans they provided a coffee maker and microwave. Everything was great. The cabin was literally like in their description just minutes away...

Quick 30-45 second walk from the front door to the Frio River. Our boys had a blast fishing all day and spending time at Garner State Park.”
