Inside is a revered painting of the Virgin Mary and Jesus that arrived in the town in the 15th century. You can also see the sacred rock on which the painting miraculously appeared, according to legend. Explore the Church of San Pietro and an organ that’s more than 500 years old. Stop by the Convent of the Capuchins, which was built in 1538.
