“The property is a short walk from the stunning beach, some of our favorite restaurants. This is a very new and exceptionally well-designed hotel. The rooms are fantastic, everything is brand new and visually pleasing. The pool area and cabanas are wonderful too. Staff is very friendly and supportive. They have a great consierge who booked a lot of activities for us - zip lining, ATV tour, surfing. Room maintenance and cleaning is superb. We were supposed to stay for a week and ended up staying……

“We stayed only one night at Lagarta Lodge to kick off our vacation in Nosara and I didn’t want to leave! The property is absolutely stunning with a very special view from high up looking out to the ocean, that other hotels in the area don’t have available to them. “The concierge was so helpful, recommending restaurants and activities. He notified us of a scheduled area wide power outage and took care of making reservations for an ATV tour during the outage. The restaurant was fantastic, with large plates of fresh food and friendly service. Housekeeping kept the room clean and comfortable. ”

“Gorgeous, isolated place with friendly staff and easy access to beautiful beaches. Prepare yourself for the drive in, which is on a dirt road with lots of holes. If you rent a car, get the insurance. Lots of restaurants nearby you can drive to or catch one of their mini-taxis. The free breakfast is delicious, and the views are awesome. The hotel design and architecture are definitely very different and fun. ”

“Great overall just one really inconvenient thing was that for our 3 night stay we had to change room every single day which was a hassle and forced us to be at the property to do the moving every day at 1pm when we could have been at the beach or in town. ”
