Ligré est juste à côté de Chinon (le château est une très bonne visite en soi) et ça a été un bon point de chute pour notre semaine, on a pu visiter beaucoup de sites avec 15-40 minutes de voiture max (abbaye de Fontevraud, Saumur, Azay le Rideau, Monts sur Guesnes, Richelieu...). "We were a family group with a 5 year old and a two year old. The pool is great and we made good use of it each day. The location is rural and peaceful. The house is beautiful and the gardens are wonderful with lots of space. The beds were comfortable and the house well equipped. The welcome pack of wine, local cheese and bread was a lovely touch. "Amazing value for money and location. Really well equipped apartments, spacious balcony and comfy beds. Kitchen didn't have any spare space for storing shopping to make the most of the self catering aspect, but we worked around it. Our apartment overlooked the car park but in fact, it was really quiet, not overlooked by other guests and our balcony had a grear view of the fortress."
