"We immediately fell in love with this cabin. It was the perfect size for 2 and had everything that we needed. After a long day out it was so nice to come back and recharge. The surrounding property was amazing as well and gave the well needed encapsulated nature vibe with the comfort of knowing there was a gate to enter and exit the property. The ac/ heating unit was a little tricky in the bedroom. Often when on Auto during the night the heat did not kick on and woke up a couple nights to it being 64 degrees. Extra blankets were lovely to have but some thicker blankets would have topped it off! The shower curtain did not fit properly and it cause water to splash out on the floor....I was more so concerned the floor would get damaged and not the extra time it took to wipe up the floor. My only recommendation is that would have been nice to have new bug traps in the cabin. The ones in there when we got there were pretty covered. None of what I mentioned is nothing compared to the overall experience. We can't wait to come back!!! "

"This cozy cabin tucked away in the woods was the perfect place for a couples getaway. It was quiet, clean, and in a great location for relaxing and unplugging from reality. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to slow down and truly enjoy each other. We especially loved the charming atmosphere. It was warm, welcoming, and private. We highly recommend this little hidden gem for anyone looking for a restful escape!"

"Great place to relax. Host was very nice and communication was great. Great location if you want to hike the Ouachita Forest, visit the Wegner Crystal Mine or just get away from the cities. You’re also only about 1 hour away from Hot Springs where there is the Garvan Woodland Gardens, mini golf/family activities and the Coleman Crystal Mine."

"We stayed here over Easter with two families and couldn't have been more pleased.Come light — the kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked with appliances, cookware, and seasonings. We overpacked as usual and barely needed any of it. A Dollar General just 3 minutes away covers anything you might still be missing.The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and there is genuinely room for a crowd. The beds earned high marks from my wife.Amenities are a real highlight: a well-maintained swimming pool, a hot tub, a beautiful pond stocked for fishing, and a stream running alongside the property that's perfect for a family hike (watch for snakes in warmer months). Inside, you'll find board games, Roku TV, and solid Wi-Fi if you need to sneak in some remote work.The setting itself is the star. We spent our mornings on the front porch with coffee, watching cattle graze across open fields. The night sky is stunning — big and bright, even for us Texans.The home is close to Mt. Ida and makes for an easy day trip to Hot Springs or Mena. It is well-maintained, loaded with amenities, and a genuinely relaxing retreat for families.Highly recommended — we would absolutely stay again."

"I was so pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem, away from all the hustle. Close to the lake, campground and had its own big yard with a beautiful fireplace and play area for kids. The bedrooms/kitchen/living area were spacious and as described in the property listing and the communication with the host was great. I would definitely rent again. Few things to note, (were not a deal breaker for us) There was no Iron and Ironing Board also the bathrooms did not have hair dryers. Also note there is no Laundry inside the house. However, I would still give this place a 5 star and definitely rent it again if i ever go back to this area. "
