"WIfi was slow, at times nonexistent! I had to go to a Starbucks cafe to get work done, ugh. Pool was decent, could be cleaner. All in all a good place to stay when catching a flight or connecting in FLL. FREE shuttle setvice to and from the airport is awesome!!!!"

"The location is great for walking to the beach and local restaurants . Staff were nice . Rooms have a mini kitchen which would be helpful to save money. Has a nice clean small pool. Just no vending machines , the building by the office is super loud because it’s closer to the street. My mattress was super hard and very worn in on one side , but management said they would take care of it . Great ok for the price and proximity to the beach was awesome . "

"This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment we checked in, it was a disaster. The front desk staff, especially Troy, was rude and unprofessional. We were initially given the wrong room, forcing us to return to the front desk to have it corrected. Once we got into the room, the issues only got worse. There were small roaches throughout the room, visible mold in the bathroom, and the air conditioning unit stopped working. When I tried calling the front desk to speak with a manager about these concerns, my calls were disconnected intentionally twice. We booked two nights and ended up leaving a day early. Troy at the front desk was especially unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and basic customer service was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend staying here."

"They are in the process of updating old couches and chairs! Much of the furnishings are old but the hotel is clean and is a convenient location! The views are either the intracostal or the ocean! Both are enjoyable except for the strait ahead view of the ocean( old ugly short buildings). However, it is a very acceptable place to stay if you can’t afford the ritz or Marriott!"

"The Sonesta was great and the staff wonderful. Food ok, beach access great. My only recommendation is turnoff the music at night. They have music playing all night and it is medium to loud. Not a good sleeping environment. Nice hotel. MM"
