“We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. When I got there I found out that parking was in fact not free, but $1 per 20 minutes with a maximum of $24. I was willing to pay this, but was disappointed because I……

“The Indigo Inn is in an amazing location with plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars nearby. It has apparently been renovated or updated. But what stood out the most was the service and amenities at the price point. Really nice front desk staff. Great housekeeping. Nice courtyard. In the afternoon they put out drinks and at 5 pm there is a wine and cheese reception. At 8 pm they \put out fresh cookies. “Enjoyed a wonderful stay in Charleston at the Ansonborough. The check-in process was quick and the staff were pleasant. Our room was clean, spacious and we loved the decor as well as the architecture at this boutique hotel. The parking is very conveniently located across the street and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. ”

“The Vendue made the money you spend on your room worth it in many ways. The staff communicates with you every day and offers additional perks such as a daily art tour, special tastings, glasses of champagne/prosecco, and milk and cookies each day. We used the complimentary bikes one day to explore the city and had a great time. Our room was cleaned every day and towels replaced at least once per day.
