Quiet spot, walking distance from EVERYTHING! Room is sparce and sort of generic/ cold feeling, but not uncomfortable. Bare laminate floors and cheap furniture. Parking lot is awful for anything but a small car.

Location, room, amenities were absolutely amazing the only small issue we had was during check-in, we were handed a key that did not work. I went back down to speak to her about it. She told me I possibly wasn't using it correctly so I went back and did as she said. Still didn't work. Down to the main office I went again. This time another guest was also going to the office because her key was not working. We both stood in there together while front desk finished up check-in for another guest. My turn came and she told me she would come show me how then proceeded to ask the other guest for her key and went to HER room first. I let it slide. My husband and I went back upstairs and waited and she never came. So I went back downstairs to the office again. Once again, a different guest was having issues with her key and as she spoke to me, I said we BOTH are still having issues, front desk took my key, then took the other guests key and asked "do you mind I go to her first?" And I said "Yes I do mind this is twice now that you pushed us aside when we've been waiting!" Anyway, our key was messed up and someone else had to come figure it out for her and let us in our room. Everything else was fine, it was just a bit infuriating to be brushed off twice when we were there first. It did not ruin the day nor the possibility of us going back for another stay.

This hotel is a bit older, but the rooms are kept up. We stayed in the suite with the room overlooking the ocean. However, we wish the main bedroom was facing the ocean rather than the hall. The pullout sofa was definitely too small for our two older kids. But, overall the location was great and the staff was very helpful. I even left my laptop charger in the room, and they were able to ship it to me for just the shipping fee.
