“Cambria as I know, well and this particular hotel is definitely on the way out. I used to come to Cambria once a year, it was my hide away place from reality, a place to relax, a place I love. Of course, I can't compare the amenities to other high end hotels but the breakfast here was so gross, I couldn't even use the coffee. Cold eggs and days old pastries, passed off as a good continental breakfast, my god. There's no AC in the room, and the lousy fan they provided is an absolute joke.……

“Checking in was a disappointment. We had requested & confirmed a ground floor room but were told none was available. “Garden View” was a misnomer as our view was of inaccessible, uneven backyard forest space not the outdoor area we had hoped to sit outdoors & enjoy the view. There were available small tables at the property’s roadside but traffic made sitting there unappealing. However, the room was clean and the cleaning staff were efficient and did a very good job.”

"We stayed for one night. Loved the outdoor areas with the games and the fire pits that kept us warm at night. Our room faced a small swimming pool area, perfect for kids to play in. One of the lights in our bathroom wasn't working. The staff at the reception was nice. Parking in the premises was easy."

"The room was clean and tidy, although the facilities were a bit dated. The location is excellent—it's very close to Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seal viewing area. The hotel is right across from the ocean, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a good experience."
