“very very good!”

“The property has a beautiful view and is minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park”

“The room is beautiful, the kitchen is big, the couch is comfortable, the bed was a little too firm for my old body but otherwise was great. The host was super nice, and answered promptly to all my questions. NOTE: if you need supplies get them from Hilo or get them before 5pm 'cause everything is closed early!!!”

“The location was great! Minutes from Volcanoes National Park! Also it was close to some restaurants and gas! The place was spacious and had comfortable bedding. There was a heater for cooler nights! The coffee pod machine and fridge are such nice features!!!”

“Volcano is a rural area, and this lodge is no different. The grounds are beautiful. This property is great for people who appreciate the outdoors. I was happy that the shower was HOT, as it gets cold in Volcano. Some things that would've made our stay a little better are: a portable fan, a larger dehumidifier, and bottled water. “Un hotel muy comodo, limpio y con excelente servicio. Enclavado en el bosque, con un paisaje que inspira. Muy recomendable”

“The house was very nice! Very peaceful place. The host was so helpful and accommodating. We ended up staying there during a hurricane. There was a back up power system so we never went without power. We had everything we needed. The property caretaker called to check on us and offered help if needed. Very nice people. I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it.”

“Clean and cozy cottage very close to volcano. Would stay here again.”

“Beautiful property! The sounds of the forest at night were amazing. Very close to the park.”

“Two of the towels were not cleaned and still hanging behind the bathroom door. Some of the towels had stains on them. The property was ok but not super clean. It was just for one night so we were fine with it otherwise would not recommend staying in it for multiple days. The sofa bed was quite old. Definitely not worth $200+ per night.”
