On Austin Ave!!! Completely remodeled and close to Magnolia, Downtown & Baylor.

Freshly remodeled duplex on historic Austin Ave. Close to Magnolia, Downtown Waco, Cottonland Castle & Baylor University.

The house was built after the 1953 tornado. Before completion the house was elegantly re-designed and finished by Abner McCall for his mother and her guest or caregivers.
It took us 2 years to remodel the property. My mother lives in one side and now we offering the guest side for Waco visitors. The property has a large fenced in backyard and a common courtyard (great outdoor space) that is great for hanging out. Easily sleeps 2 couples. Queen bed in one room and KIng in the other. Remodeled kitchen with new modern appliances. All of the furniture is new. The furniture is from a famous Dallas department store. The furniture was used as samples for photo shoots to feature in catalogs and their website (fyi our main job is in furniture wholesale). Cable Televisions in both bedrooms and living room. Wireless internet. Plenty of parking, located on a large corner lot.

I am constantly renting houses in Waco for visiting artists who teach at my store. This is one of my all time favorites- safe neighborhood, close to downtown but not in the rental village, beautifully furnished and comfortable, lovely courtyard. It’s a 10.

Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! The house, location, floor plan, furniture, appliances, bedding, lighting, the art, the flooring, rugs, etc. The kitchen was so well stocked a gourmet cook would be impressed. Is rained off and on so sadly, we were not able to take advantage of the lovely outdoor spaces. It’s impossible to exaggerate the description on this VRBO. Thank you, Bill.

Lovely house in a great location!
This house is the perfect place to stay in Waco. It is tucked in a beautiful neighborhood with close proximity to downtown Waco and Baylor. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed the bonus of off street parking and a beautiful private patio. Communication with the owner was great too. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

FANTASTIC experience! My health-required zero-salt diet means I must cook everywhere I travel. This kitchen was WONDERFUL to cook in. Property had everything we needed and is positively beautiful. The location was ideal for ease of navigation all over Waco. We stay at Vrbo’s all over US & Europe and this is the best place we have stayed. Impeccably clean. Most comfortable bed anywhere. Owner has beautiful taste in decor and excellent taste in wine (free bottle in frig). Could not have been happier with our stay. We were in town for a family member’s surgery and this was a perfect peaceful place for their recovery. During recovery they were able to have friends over and sit on the lovely patio. Also had a friend or two stop by for dinner to keep them company. All the friends who visited commented on how beautiful the place was. Again, we could not have been happier with our stay.

This property is a GEM!! Loved everything about it. Hope it is available the next time we come to Waco. We have a home on a canal in Cocoa Beach that we rent to others, and this property gives us goals. We didn't use the kitchen, but the little extras everywhere made an impact (face wipes in the bathroom, a bottle of wine even though we didn't drink it, all necessary laundry items and more). Plus the furnishings were amazing.
