“This was a return visit for us. Lovely, spacious, well-appointed home in a very private, quiet location. It is a great home base for exploring the area - Cutler, Lubec, Campobello, Eastport, Cobscook Bay, Schoodic Point. Lots of hiking trails for all abilities with stunning scenery. Machias is convenient for restaurants and food shopping, gas stations, etc. The owner and the property manager are terrific & very helpful. Highly recommend!”

“This was a great home and location for our first visit to Maine. Easy drive to Lubec, Calais, Eastport, Machiasport and many other locations. As wonderful as the photos and description may be, it is actually better! Lots of attention to the small things that make traveling easier. And as many others have said, sitting on the porch was very relaxing. Communication with Lucas was easy and prompt and without a doubt I would stay here again and highly recommend.”

“Beautiful property! We loved watching the tide come and go, and at low tide the kids explored the muddy riverbed. Tall people should note that the second floor has low ceilings and lower doorways. ”

“The house is a Ranch with numerous doors and windows allowing access to the outdoors from every point. An enclosed, screened in sun room on the main level & a spacious lower-level deck allow for great views, catching some rays and an evening cocktail. There is also an electric winch for launching & retrieving kayaks and canoes.For anyone who is mobility impaired, the house is easily accessed by an outside ramp. The main floor bedroom & handicap shower provide great space & is directly accessible...
