“What a gem right next to Wrigleyville Stadium! I had an emergency and needed somewhere to stay for two nights while my son was in the hospital. This was the perfect accommodation walkable to where I needed to go. Clean community townhome with lock off rooms, community kitchen and living room room – very lovely environment and excellent location. Walkable to many restaurants.”
“What an absolutely remarkable place! It genuinely feels as though a beautiful piece of historic Italy has been transported into this Chicago neighborhood. The architecture, thoughtfully selected ornate decor, warmth, and attention to detail create an atmosphere that is both elegant and incredibly welcoming. This is not simply a place to stay. Specific complaints: my room lacked both trash can and bedside light.
And the self-serve breakfast provided nice individual portions of yogurt and bags of nuts, but on neither morning was coffee available (happily there are places only blocks away to buy some).
Plus, charging extra for checking in 1-3-hours earlier than the 4pm check-in seems a……
“The bed was very comfortable. The choices of TV channels was quite disappointing. Unfortunately the guest elevator was out of service so we all had to use the stairs or the service elevator. I requested the service elevator one time on the first day, and it did not come. Finally a cleaning staff person saw me waiting, now for almost 10 minutes, and contacted someone to help. There was no ice machine or pop machine on the third floor so I had to go back to first floor. The next day I chose to do……
“It’s self serve and it was great for me but I can see why people would have issues. If you need personal help, it’s the the place for you. But it was great for me”
