Last chance Hotel
Overall hotel good ,but the last couple of days the meals quality changed ,which i thought strange the only difference? I can but it down to was from southern to northern visitors. And it was quite dramatic the difference unfortunately we like are rations. This is no reflexion on the chief's as they were excellent. Reception , efficient but not friendly . Bottled water at table 2.50euro or wine. Meal times good breakfast 8-11am which is included ,dinner 6.30 -9pm. Hotel situated on the promenade access through private gate ,which a guest informed me as she closed it in my face Ha Ha I just love em . By the way most guests are couples and 65 plus so don't expect to find anyone more physical than the promenade shuffle, The Tue reps are all young and will remind you (unintentionally) of what you could do when you were there age ,ha ha you've got to laugh. Loverly lady cook dealing with grumpy visitors smiles at grumps and says Holidays Happy Times. Best laugh. Try to remember that and if someone says Good morning answer in a positive Good Morning practice in the mirror before you go . Think of Robin williams in Vietnam. Bottom line , It's a Hotel the rest is up to YOU.

Checking in was a very negative experience. The reception lady was unbelievably rude and inconsiderate. There are lots of hotels in the area and in future, we’ll be sure to book elsewhere. On holiday we like to sleep past 7AM and not possible at this place - doors thumping constantly. Horrid.

Hotel as expected- enjoyable stay
Our stay lived up to our expectations. We had a room side on to the sea and the road. The road was noisy on balcony, but inside the room the traffic was barely audible. Regrettably there was the normal reserving of sun beds despite signs banning it. Food was good enough , no complaints there and the restaurant provided a nice atmosphere.

Hotel was clean and good facilities although we arrived around 11.30 and no sun loungers left although there was plenty of extra space around the pool but said they had no more. Not good for the amount of guests. Hotel corridors were painted grey and really dark, could do with a brighter colour, rooms also on the dark side but ok, except for the creaking floorboards. All in all had a good stay for 2 nights, got up early for the sunbeds the next day.

Four day sunshine break
Excellent hotel in goods position. Breakfast was very good, water hot, room & linen clean. Only gripe was soap dispenser in bathroom empty & no shower or Bath gel replacement when room was cleaned

The room was very hot and the bed wasn't very comfortable. I had fish one night and it wasn't cooked when i told the man who cooked it wasn't cooked he said well don't have it next time i have stayed here before but its going down hill

Lovely huge balcony
We booked the room with a very large terrace with hot tub, loungers and table and chairs. The balcony was wonderful with great views. The hotel was in a great position just along from the marina. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Hotel was spotlessly clean. Food was excellent as were the staff. Drinks prices were reasonable. Had entertainment on of an evening which was to a good standard. All in all would certainly recommend this hotel

Wonderful Medplaya
First time abroad in 2 years due to covid. So decided to dip our toes in and spend a long weekend in Benalmadena. We were not disappointed withour choice of Medplaya. Very well situated overlooking sea & promenade. Facilities were excellent and we felt safe during our stay. Choice of food & entertainment was excellent. Although there weren't a lot of guests in hotel, staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. It certainly lives up to its 4 star ranking and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Stay was absolutely brilliant and incredibly good value. Fantastic half board meals, all positive except * too many "clean" plates were actually dirty and * our friends were told to go to Fuengirola to get a bus to Mijas when there is a half hourly bus direct to this stunning and very popular white village from right outside the hotel which reception should definitely have known

Good hotel for a few days in the sun
We chose this hotel for a few days of sun and relaxation before a walking holiday in the mountains. The hotel gave us a warm welcome and we could check in at about 1030am when we arrived. We didn’t book any meals and only ate in the restaurant a couple of times, simple poolside lunch and buffet breakfast (this was ok, not the best not the worst). Facilities were great although the usual sunbed hogging with no sign of people using them until about 2pm, but there were lots of different spots to sunbathe aside from the pool. The beach was easily accessible and the waves were great. Room was clean and tidy and the staff were always helpful and efficient. The gym was one family at a time and no booking system which was a bit frustrating. Close proximity to all manner of restaurants and bars, and Benalmadena marina is fabulous.

Nice hotel, good room and great location. The only negative comment I have is that my room was on the ground floor next to the bar which meant it was quite hard to fall asleep early on a noisy Saturday evening. Something worth checking when booking/checking in.

We had reservation for 5 nights (March 5,6,7,8 and 9), but due to emergency situation we had to change our plan, we did stay only for two nights (March 5 and 6). I did inform hotel owner regarding our plan, hotel manager told us to contact Hotels.com and I did send an e-mail to Hotes.com to cancel the remaining three nights (March 7, 8 and 9) of our reservation. Please note we did make reservation through Hotels.com in Barcelona Spain’s, I was charged twice for those three nights (in Malaga and Barcelona). Hotels.com must reimburse the extra charges for those three nights to my credit card. Thanks Farhad

Nice hotel aimed more at older guests
Nice hotel but a distinctly older clientele and the evening entertainment reflected that. The food was pretty good, excellent range of options on offer, you'd struggle if you were vegetarian and particularly vegan though. Pool was on the small side. Disappointed more fitness activities weren't on offer.

Easter Holidays
This is a fantastic hotel, lovely and clean. Just booked a standard room and it was brilliant even had a partial sea view. No music played during the day which is what we like. Probably one of the youngest in the hotel, however I always book and older age group hotel. There was a sickness bug going around though in this hotel, however luckily I only had it for 2 days.
