The apartment is right near the water with walking distance to many restaurants along the water and near many shops, the river flea market and near many grocery shops."

Recently renovated with a fantastic location on the Duro river and a nice breakfast.
Be aware… the property is NOT staffed after 10 pm. So check in earlier than that. We checked in late in the day and needed to wait outside for the staff member to come to the property. We were a little thrown off by that. Think of it like a cross between a boutique hotel and an AirBnB!
Once she got there we settled in and had a great experience. Staff during working hours is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. "
"The hotel is so lovely! It’s tucked away in an ancient little alley just off of the river (a little hard to find with GPS; just ask). The room was spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. There was even a gorgeous skylight directly above the bed! (Think sleeping in a lighthouse) with beautiful stone walls. It’s so convenient and I’d definitely stay again. Warning: however, there is no parking and the closest garage was a bit of a haul (~1-1.5km?) so, I just backpacked it instead of fighting with my luggage. It ended up costing >50€ for overnight-4pm.
