"If you come on a Wednesday, be careful: the hotel and restaurant are closed and the number on the notice at the door doesn’t work. I was on a cycling tour and had already called the number on the confirmation (which does work) to say I would be arriving at 8.30. Ringing back on arrival I got step by step instructions how to get in and find the room, all in my school German. The restaurant was in the evening shut so no food. "Small basic room but clean and comfortable. Hotel has a confusing array of staircases but once shown the way to your room it is ok. Friendly staff and restaurant food is outstanding. Plenty of parking available."

"We had a lovely 1 night stay with our 2 dogs. This hotel is very dog friendly and we could even bring our pointers with us into their restaurant when we had dinner. The staff was super friendly and the food amazing:) The only little thing I would have liked to have been informed about when booking our room, was that if we wanted to use the jacuzzi (that was the major reason we booked this hotel) we should have booked it so they could have had the chance to fill it with water and heat it up.
