“Lovely space, bedrooms are good sized with very comfortable bedding. Kitchen and living areas are comfortable and easy to use. The backyard is beautiful, with a nice propane BBQ, and having the hot tub was a nice bonus. It is a pet friendly home and I always appreciate high quality properties with fenced yards and the dog was very comfortable here, as were we. I'd definitely come back.For older guests or those with difficulty walking up/down hills, please know this is not walkable to downtown.……

“We had a great family weekend in Carmel at Holly and Richard’s house. Especially enjoyed sitting on the courtyard deck under the oak tree enjoying the beautiful fall weather. The house gets great natural light and has a nice layout for family to spend time together in the common spaces. Communication with our hosts was top-notch, especially appreciated the helpful tips and recommendations—a birthday cake for my dad from their recommended local bakery was a big hit! ”

“Mom and I had a great time on her bday getaway. The guest house is super cute and we enjoyed the different views every night. From the fog rolling in to a big starry canopy, we built a fire both nights and watched Antiques Roadshow with yummy dinner finds from Jerome’s in town. The drive is a wind-y one but you truly get the feeling of being on top of the world. Very quiet neighborhood - the other rental was empty so we had the place to ourselves. It would be fun to rent the larger property and……

“Owner was very responsive and accommodated an earlier check in which was appreciated. Check in was straight forward. House was clean and tidy, spacious with a garden that the kids enjoyed and comfy beds.Shower pressure was weak but overall we enjoyed the house and would recommend. Great location to enjoy the full range of the monterey Bay Area as well as local shops, although the house is well stocked with amenities ”
