Pleasant Stay
Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. The backyard is gorgeous. The listing said be out by 11AM, but host said 10AM. Pictures showed laundry detergent was available, but no where to be found. Ants in kitchen and living room, but understandable it being summer. We did enjoy our stay though.

Very pleased with this house 🏠
We stayed a month in this house. It was a prefect location as we used to live in the area. I must say that if you are looking at this house please let me tell you that it has lots of stairs which might not be the best choice for people who are not able to get up and down stairs as the bathroom is upstairs or downstairs Also the kitchen which we used quite often is small but easy to clean. The yard was lovely. It’s a nice place and I would recommend it. I would also stay again. Thank you Aly

Clean but outdated
This property was overall pretty nice. We traveled with four adults and two pets. It would be nice if there was a gate at the back stairs to prevent pets from heading down there. The stairs are fairly steep. I know that Illinois recycles just about everything, but it would be very nice if there was a separate bin in the kitchen for recycling. It was not convenient to walk all the way outside and through the gate put recycling away. The upstairs bathroom lacked extra towels, there were no washcloths upstairs at all and there was only one hand towel provided upstairs. The picture in the listing showed a twin bed in the second bedroom upstairs and a queen bed downstairs. However, the queen bed was upstairs and now there are two twin beds downstairs. Just note that there is no bathroom on the main floor, only one upstairs and one in the basement. The fenced in backyard was very nice for the dog, but there were a few spots where they could easily get out. So you have to be careful in the corners. And since the back gate wasn’t locked so you can access the garbage and the garbage and recycle, the dog easily got out into the alley. It would be nice if there was a slide lock on the gate to keep it closed from the inside. Overall, we felt very safe in the neighborhood and the house was comfortable and clean.

The house is in a family friendly quiet neighborhood. Very easy to get public transit or drive anywhere. At one point we had an issue and contacted the owner. She was very helpful, prompt, and took care of our issue quickly.

The whole family loved our visit here. It was a fantastic home base for our visit. Our teenage son had a basement hideout, our daughter a bright upstairs room, and my partner and I a lovely king-size bed. The host was so conscientious and communicated clearly. We hope to book this for next year’s adventure if the timing works out.

The house was wonderful. Nice neighborhood. Easy walk to the bus lines. Appliances were top notch. Only drawback was a lack of dishtowel and small washcloths which may have been an issue between owner and maid. Would stay there gain if visiting Chicago.

Beautiful home
This home was just what we needed. Quiet, nice neighborhood, I felt safe. Accommodations were great, and was the perfect size for my, husband our infant and my in-laws. Property was clean and nicely cared for. I enjoyed that it was a distance from the downtown part of the city (only because of traffic) but had other things to do nearby. Overall, listing was accurate, and we were all thoroughly pleased with our stay. Thank you!

This was a nice, clean, comfortable home. Looked just as pictured. The location was great, having a fenced in yard was nice with our dog. Parking in Chicago is horrid, so having a full driveway was perfect. Beds were comfortable. All in all, it was a great stay.

There are no pictures of the stairs!
We had two elderly people, a pregnant woman and a toddler and none of the photos showed the crazy small and uneven stairs the property had. They also had ants through out the house. When we arrived the thermostat was not turned on and the whole house was 89 degrees and I had to wait 3 hours (11pm) until I could feel safe to put my toddler to bed. Great location, but propbably wouldn’t stay here again, they really need to put pictures of the stairs!

This is a nice house in a good neighborhood. Close to walk to bus. Short drive to grocery and convenient stores. If I had to suggest anything, I would say they need more towels -- particularly hand towels. There was 1 bath towel per person provided (which was fine) but there were no hand towels. Everything else was provided. Would recommend this house and would stay here again!

GreatLocation In lovely neighborhood
Our family of 5 stayed here during our trip to Chicago. It was an excellent location for quick access to freeways but away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We brought our dog and appreciated the fenced yard and being able to walk him or take him to the dog park less than a mile away. There is small yard and patio sets (we didn’t use it because Chicago winter was still hanging in) but the space is great in an area where space/yard it at a premium. There is no first floor bathroom but 2 full bathrooms upstairs and in bedroom in the basement - but that was a small adjustment. Communicating with the property manager (Alicia) was easy. She answered us promptly each and every time. We would stay here again if we came back to Chicago!
