“Excellent location! We are in love with the beautiful singing sand. It seriously is the Waikiki of the UP! The house is top notch. Our host checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We swam, kayaked, fished, saunaed and jumped in the lake! It was a blast and we can’t wait to do it again! Truly a 5 star experience. ”

“Lots of room, great cooking supplies for making meals, access to the shore, kayaks and fishing poles, books and games for rainy days. We have been here multiple times, and it's honestly one of our favorite places ”

“This is our 4th time staying here, so yeah, that probably says a lot about what I think of both the hosts and the property. My family absolutely loves it here, and this trip did not disappoint. We love the beach and spent a great deal of time there. Got lucky on most days with super calm waters that we swam in by the fire.We don't get cell service up here, and the wifi doesn't reach the beach...and that's fine by us, it's nice getting the entire family off the devices and spending time together!”

“We had a great stay at this beautiful house! It was very homey and inviting and large enough for oyr family. We were there for a wedding and it was a relief to have such a nice place. Would definitely rebook.”

“Great place! Very secluded which is what we were looking for. We really enjoyed the views of the big lake and the freighters traveling across it. Excellent place for us to explore the area with our SXS and our dog loved to run around the grounds. Mark (the host), was excellent to communicate with and made our stay perfect! ”

“What an amazing find to stay at the Quincy House for one night. We stayed in what was formally known as the maids quarters of this historical home. There was a lot of attention to detail for travelers including fresh cut flowers. There was a small refrigerator with waters, keuring for hot beverages, along with breakfast bars & oatmeal for a quick breakfast or snack. The hosts even had thimbleberry jam for sale. We will keep this on our list for return travel. The owner is very friendly and...

“Everything we wanted! Huge yard, spacious tiddy cottage, surrounded by nature and quiet! Great central location for exploring all the Keweenaw has to offer. We appreciate Riverside Cottage more and more, everytime we visit. (I love that you can hear the river right through your open windows at night.) Make time to walk down to the river and explore a bit. It is goregous! Reasonable rates and great host.”

“loved watching the lake all day. pleasantly surprised that we had a sandy beach and easy access into the water. no rocks, just soft sand under my feet. also enjoyed a daily walk along the beautiful wooded road. some nice features of the house that i haven’t experienced at other vrbo places: well-lighted rooms and hanging space in bathroom, plus a light that comes on as you start up or down the steps.”
