“What a great location! I loved having the little fenced-in area for my little dog, Chewie. The views were better than I imagined! The location was very convenient to Cherokee and Bryson City, where I went shopping, tried my luck at Harrah's, and ate some amazing food at the local eateries. “Deep Creek Apartment was everything I expected it to be and more! My son and I stayed for three nights and it was super. It was quiet, very close to town, close to restaurants, close to Deep Creek Park, and it was the perfect size and had a full kitchen. “Debi is an amazing host with a gift of hospitality. Opened fridge to find eggs from her chickens, OJ, fruit, cold water and homemade hummingbird loaf, delicious! Mornings were spent on the porch, sitting in the swing, with coffee in one hand an a book in the other; enjoying the peace, quiet, and solitude, even had a hummingbird visited one morning. If you are looking for rest and relaxation check out Hummingbird Hill, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Debi. ”

“Very nice home away from home. We could walk to restaurants, bars, and more. Ample parking with some caviats. The view is nice if one doesn't focus on the immediate vicinity. “Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much! The views are spectacular, and the area is much nicer than a hotel room. My only negative is that the mattress on the bed needs to be replaced. They have a topper on it, but our backs hurt for days after our stay due to the mattress's lack of support. We considered sleeping on the pull-out couch; it was that bad. Still, I'd recommend it overall. It's quaint, cute, and a nice getaway.”

The unit temperature is remotely control so call the property manager immediately if it's too hot or cold. There is no toaster but the broiler works. Everything is brand new.”
