This property was very clean, beds were very comfortable, towels were plentiful, furniture and decor was new and comfortable. There is no separate sleeping space except for a curtain that can be drawn between the 2 queen beds and bathroom and the living/dining/kitchen space. It worked for us very well and we plan to return.

Clean and Comfortable
We wanted a place close to the lake and this is a short walking distance which is perfect. We also were not wanting to do a lot of running around, just wanted a quiet, clean and comfortable place to cook our own meals and hang out. It was perfect.

It was a very nice spot. Updated and in a great location. This is a open concept property with no actual bedrooms. There is a kitchen that flows into a sitting area that flows into the area the beds are located. The beds were comfy.

Fun sister trip
Excellent location, very clean and comfortable, beds were great, kitchen was very well stocked, beautiful back yard. My sisters and I walked several miles each day on the beach and through the neighborhood, and felt very safe.

Clean, modern studio with thoughtful touches
You can tell the owners have experience in the hospitality industry as the apt has everything you need for a comfortable stay with the addition of perks such as coffee, water and a few snacks greeting you on arrival. The location is great, easy access to Canal Park but the peace and quiet of the beach. We enjoyed the pretty view from the back deck watching the boats on the water, and could hear the waves on Lake Superior at night. Excellent option for enjoying all that Duluth has to option and it was easy to hop on the highway and head to the North Shore.

Beautiful, cozy property!
My family of 5 (2 adults, kids aged 9, 9, and 12) really enjoyed our stay here! Much better than a standard hotel room for us. Reasonable amount of in-home amenities and space for us to dine in for some meals of our 2-day stay. We appreciated the provided toiletries as I forgot to pack shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The level 2 car charger worked great for fully charging our F150 Lightning overnight (we drove from the St. Paul suburbs). The only downside we found was the TV audio was not in sync with the picture. Location of this home was super convenient and my kids liked that we had to drive over the bridge every time we arrived or left.

I took some time to enjoy Duluth and the north shore in autumn. This was the perfect place to to do both. Quick access to to the scenic highway heading north and also to the restaurants and activities in Duluth. The upstairs apartment was clean and comfortable.

Tranquil Superior Spot
Lovely, quiet and super clean little apt. Easy access with a nice sitting area at top of stairs for an evening glass of wine to watch the inner harbor and boats. Would stay here again! Thank you Tom and Karleen.

Clean, cozy spot!
I am not usually one to leave a review but I wanted to leave a few things on this darling little spot! First off our first impression of the little apartment above the owners house was very good. It was very clean, nicely decorated and very thought out as far as accommodations are concerned. Very updated, clean linens and up to date maintenance. We felt very at home and comfortable here. One con I would like to mention, we found out at check-in that there is not 2 bedrooms like the listing stated, there is a curtain separating the two queen beds from the rest of the apartment. We saw all the pictures but because we read that there was 2 bedrooms on the advertisement I assumed it was there and wasn't in the pictures. This would have not been a huge deal but since we have 5, 4, & 2 year old children, it made the space a little difficult to settle in. I am not reviewing this to complain, but just want to make others aware so they know it won't fit a young family if all sleeping in the same room isn't for you! This apartment is above the owners home which we also did not realize, but they are very polite and accommodating. The beach is very neat, just a block away, an easy walk, and a beautiful view! We enjoyed the Duluth area and was a memorable vacation for our family. Thanks again!

Sorry about the confusion; we have changed the property description from bed room to sleeping area and referenced the pictures, as you suggested, and and described the blackout curtains. I believe that we do say that the house is owner occupied, which provides more security and services than a studio in another rental house.

Great Location, Bright and Clean
We stayed here so we could drop off both of our children at the university of minnesota de luce, which was a very emotional experience. This Was a nice place for the kids to bring back their friends for some snacks and get away from campus for a little bit. The place is very crisp and clean and just what we needed! Our hosts were very pleasant, recalled that we were there to drop our children off and left us with enough space to feel like we had our place to ourselves. We will definitely book our stay there again!

Great Park Point Apartment!

Lake Superior is our Happy Place
This was our fifth trip to Duluth this year. We love it. This VRBO was the perfect size for the four of us. It’s in the ideal location, near downtown and Canal Park with easy access to the beach. Even though it is located on a busy road, it was quiet. Not only was Tom and Karleen’s rental pristine, so was their landscaping. Mornings and evenings were spent on the small deck overlooking the vegetable and flower gardens, enjoying the breeze. The weather was perfect, which is always a bonus. We didn't want to leave and hope to come back!

Perfect Spot to Explore Duluth
Came in for a concert at Bayfront and some mountain biking. Grand kids loved crossing the bridge and the short walk to the beach where there were some surfers. Our five year old said, “I love this place, can we come back?” Beautiful place with all the amenities we would need.

Girls Trip
This vacation ended up being just my 14 yrs old daughter and myself. We LOVED our cozy place to stay and appreciated all the thoughtful touches this Tom and Karleen out into this hospital place. I liked how safe it felt to be here. We used our paddle boards right from the beach across the road and biked allllll over the canal area for shopping and dinner and ice cream at Love Creamery. Our last night we ordered in from Papa Luce and it was perfection. We did venture up to Palisade Head/Tettagouche park, so gorgeous! Must stop at the smoked fish shop right off the scenic route. All in all this place was a perfect fit for us and all the great reviews are accurate and spot on, the hosts are tremendous at what they do.

Very nice Duluth location
This was exactly the right place and setup for us. 3 adults and a 2 year old. Liked going over the lift bridge to get to it and leave for the day. Parking is a little tight...helps if you know how to back in your vehicle which was no problem for me. Quite a few steps up to the second floor. Met Tom and he was a very charming may and his wife. The property itself is pretty small but we were gone most of the day. Room was very clean and it met our needs well. I would recommend this property for sure. Neighborhood was quiet...except for the neighbors dogs if they were out...barked a bit but never at night. Loved this area.

If I could give it more stars for location I would. We walked to Canal Park for dinner and drinks several times and the owners gave us the inside information on where to watch the 4th of July fireworks.

We have stayed in a few other rentals in the Duluth area, this was BY FAR the best location, the cleanest and overall the easiest spot. Even though it is a studio, we comfortably slept 3 adults and 3 kids. It was fabulous to be so near Canal Park, trails, beaches. The in and out to the North Shore was. Breeze! It could not have been more well kept either, well stocked with bedding, towels and it smelled amazing. The owners were delightful and extremely easy to work with. Ten out of ten stars. Loved it!
