"If you are looking for a 5 star hotel experience, this isn't it . It's like stepping back in time, in a good way. It's an older hotel probably from the 50's, but very clean, bathroom updated, everything in the room works, from the TV any Wi-Fi to the plumbing and the hot water. The people who run it are like the nicest people in the world. There are not a lot of choices in East Glacier, I'm glad I chose this one ...it's everything I needed for sure ."

"Overall, the stay was very nice! We ate dinner at their restaurant and the burgers were excellent! There was a bar in the basement, a game room, and a seated area for talking or watching TV. You could use their bikes for free and there were other supplies in the room you could borrow for a hike, etc. The hotel has a rich history and it has an authentic Montana vibe. The staff was friendly and gave good recommendations. The only negative, there is no elevator so make sure you are physically able to climb the stairs with your luggage to the second or third floor. Also, our room was warm without the heat on, so we had to open the window and use a fan to cool it down. "

"Very unique period property. Very well kept. Be prepared as you’ve read that the rooms are small and the floors creak. Very pretty. Very clean. Staff great. Restaurant on site 100% one of my favorites. Kort was our waitress and she was amazing! Just remember this is not a new/renovated facility. Meant to be kept historical! Quite the unique experience! "
