We felt very safe and even though there is a lot of traffic outside we did not hear it. Old Town Alexandria is a quick Uber ride to enjoy restaurants, shopping, music, and the waterfront. “This is by far the ideal location for a DC stay. Coming back to a peaceful local after touring in the busy city, taking advantage of the free King Street Trolley, grabbing a nice late night snack at nearby restaurants, and the ease of accessing the Metro across the street is amazingly convenient. I would choose to stay here above any other location whenever I have the opportunity to visit DC. ”
