“We loved our time at this home! The home was spacious, set on a beautiful lake, and a short drive to Cooperstown and other attractions like the Fly Creek Orchard and the Rail Explorers experience. The area is quiet at night. If you need darkness to sleep, be sure not to sleep in the master bedroom, as you will instead catch a beautiful sunrise coming in at 5am. The kids loved the arcade game, air hockey, and foosball. Unfortunately, it was too cold and windy this time for some kayaking.”

“We travel to the Catskills at least once a year and stay at various locations. What sets this property apart is the true seclusion and absolutely no distractions from the nature around you. Even though it is close to hubs like Wyndham and Hunter (less than 20 to both) when sitting outside it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Inside is clean, cosey by the fire, and lots of fun things to do with our teenagers. Definitely would stay again.”

“It’s a beautiful property on the lake. Walkable to town and we kayaked off the dock at the Inn and had drinks on their dock overlooking the water. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. It’s an old home converted to an Inn so the rooms are not handicapped accessible so know you’ll need to climb stairs. Breakfast was continental with selection of muffins, cereals, cheeses. ”

“La vista al lago es preciosa, muy recomendable. Llegamos a las 12:30 AM la oficina de la administración estaba cerrada y no había nadie, pero en un buzón que cuelga de la puerta de la administración nos dejaron la llave de la habitación. Muy recomendable.”

“Wonderful old school inn.. very comfortable feeling. Room was very clean with an updated bathroom.. had cocktails in the pub.. what a great place to unwind.. had dinner in the dining room.. excellent prime rib, best I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back. ”
