Family fishing trip
For our annual fishing trip we have stayed at this cabin for the past seven years. A beautiful cabin that is perfectly located to several lakes and close to town for everything you may need. The cabin itself is always clean and continues to be updated over the years. Jessica always has everything ready for us and all we need to do is just have fun.

Cabin was beautiful it was stocked with everything we could need and more. Beds beyond comfortable. Kayaks and firepit were fun. The only thing missing was a better swimming area. Overall a wonderful 3 nights 4 days.

Great cabin
This was our second stay. We enjoy the location. Four wheeling trails are great. Cleanness is very good. And it is well stocked. Our one complaint is that the steps down to the porches are very narrow. I fell because of this. So if the wooden steps o could be widened itwould prevent accidents

Amazing Getaway Cabin - Loved this place!
We stayed here for an event at the nearby Keyes Lake Ski hill hall. This was super close. There are so many options for sleeping, and all beds are comfortable. Yard is beautiful, House is super clean, and it had everything we could need. There was a guest book there and we used may recommendations made by others for eating out and fun. There are a few nearby bars and restaurants as well. Loved it!

Keyes Lake Cabin
My husband and I stayed 8/25/22 -8/28/22 We had a family get together in Florence. The cabin was really more than we needed, but it was so comfy, and well equipped. Very comfortable beds, loved seating and the front porch. Had breakfast on the back patio, ate at Annie's Trading Post (excellent food). We will be back with the whole family!

Wonderful spot to relax
My mom and kids all gathered here from NC as it was very close to our family reunion location. It’s an absolute beautiful home across the street from the lake. We didn’t get to take advantage of all there was to do there but thoroughly enjoyed our stay and relaxing on the front porch in the cool, low humidity mornings. A couple quirky rules (like having to haul out your own garbage/recycling when you leave) is a bit of a nuisance. But overall, a beautiful home with great hosts. I’d highly recommend.

Gorgeous property on Keyes Lake. Every possible amenity and thing you need to be comfortable
Large property with enough space for families to play, relax, swim, lounge and eat. Just steps from the lake and the kayaks make it easy to just pop in and out of the water whenever you want! Mornings start in backyard with beautiful view of woods and evenings end with a glass of wine on the dock overlooking the lake.

Great up north
Cabin was every thing expected and then some. Overall, we overpacked. All amenities were there. Location was perfect. Fishing was good. Caught enough pan fish for a fish fry. Very convenient location to the beach and you can even swim off the public pier, directly across from the cabin. Very clean lake. Thanks for having us! The only downfall is your in charge of removing your garbage. Had to find the dump.

Beautiful log cabin
Our family (2 couples and a 6 week infant) enjoyed our stay at this Keyes Lake cabin. The log cabin was so clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a mud room to keep coolers and other things that would have been in the way. It was well stocked and property manager was very responsive to our questions. We even hit a good fishing week. Before we arrived, we were concerned about having boat docked at the dock across the street but it never was an issue. The boat launch was only two minutes away. EverythIng was perfect and we’d stay again!

This is for us
Process for renting, working with Vrbo, and property manager was very easy. Property as advertised. Nice front porch for sittiing, nice view of lake, and great backyard. Full kitchen and bath, comfortable beds, furniture and TV made for comfortable hanging out. Surrounded by Beauty. We'll do it again at this cabin and Vrbo.

Beautiful cabin and very nicely decorated. This place has all the amenities you would want. Lake is right across the street for fishing or swimming. Short walking distance to a few bar/restaurants in the area. Would recommend.

My family and I loved our stay. This place has everything you need!! Easy check in and the host was more than happy to answer any questions we had and pointed us in the right direction for everything!! I would recommend this to anyone and will stay here again if I visit again!!

Great Weekend
We'd definitely stay here again. The place was great, had everything we needed. Nice town and nearby places to eat and drink at. The pictures do not due to inside of this cabin/cottage justice. It was bigger than expected. It was my first time renting on-line and Jessica was very good with communicating with me. I would highly recommend.

This property and location did not disappoint! From a beautiful patio and fire pit looking out into a spacious backyard/wooded area to the front porch and easy access to one of the best lakes we’ve been to. Jessica not only created a flawless check in process but makes sure that every detail to make your stay wonderful ... is covered! Highly recommend ❤️

Great Escape!
The cabin was very clean with privacy for social distancing which is key during this crazy COVID world. We drove up from MPLS and the drive was worth it. We loved the cabin, area, and amenities. Our dog was in heaven playing fetch in the great yard and joining in on the family bonfire and games. Jessica, the property manager, is responsive and incredibly caring. We hope to be back!!

Clean and Comfortable
My wife, toddler, dog, and myself spent three nights at the cabin. During these unprecedented times of Covid, our biggest concern about staying somewhere was cleanliness. This cabin was cleaner than we could have hoped. We cannot emphasize enough how happy we were with the cleanliness of the place. Jessica, the property manager, was excellent. She quickly and thoroughly answered all of our questions. She was outstanding. The backyard fire pit is great. We relaxed by the fire and watched wildlife every night. The dock, which is located across the street, was nice. There is a weed line approximately 30 feet straight out from the dock. We casted slip bobbers and live bait and caught largemouth, rock bass, and bluegills. The ONLY complaint was that due to the dock being across the street, neighborhood kids spent a lot of time throwing rocks at our bobbers while we were fishing and didn’t seem to pick up on social cues or direct requests to play somewhere else. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin to anybody interested.

Great Experience!
We loved staying at this property in Florence. The ATV trails were easily accessed from the property and the lake is right across the lake from the property. We rented kayaks from Natures Waterpark and frequently went to Annies bar down the street. Highly recommend this property!

Amazing Cabin Stay!
Impeccable. All amenities needed. Close to everything! great restaurant withing walking distance. Small ski and tubing facility nearby. Small but great for the kids. Tons of room in the cabin as the upper loft has tons of beds! It was only 3 of us so plenty for us with the two main bedrooms. Walkable to Legion Park. Lake is a cross the street from cabin. Great wood stove to keep us warm and cozy during our winter stay. This is not just a summer cabin! Perfect for a winter getaway. Great restaurants in Florence as well as Iron Mountain MI which was only 15 min away. Communication with Jessica the manager was terrific and prompt. Notes: Keep in mind no dishwasher. You have to pack out your garbage.

Great weekend getaway!
The cabin was very warm and inviting even though it got down into the 20’s. We got to experience the first hint of snow with the fall colors at their peak. We walked about a half mile to Keyes Peak and walked to the top to view the beautiful fall colors below. We took a 3-minute walk to Annie’s Trading Post for cocktails and dinner. The food was great! On Saturday, we drove about 5 minutes into town to Tavern on Central for their famous Bloody Mary’s. The cabin was perfect for our family getaway and Jessica was very helpful with any questions we had.

Weekend wedding
First VRBO rental and everything went smoothly. The property is wonderful! Stayed with 9 people and a dog and it was fine, even with one bathroom. With five twin beds upstairs and a futon, plus two bedrooms downstairs, there were plenty of places to sleep. The cabin is well stocked with all you need. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Weekend Wedding Unwind
This cabin was cozy and homey. We were in Florence to attend a wedding. The decor was wildlife with deer antler drawer pulls, antlers on the dining light,a wild turkey, and bears. There was a woodstove and an outside fireplace and patio. We could see the lake from the yard,- all very relaxing after 10 1/2 hrs on the road. Refuge from the rain- Florence is a nice little town. Anything you need is easily accessed. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Stay!
The Log Cabin at Keyes Lake was perfect for us. We came for a weekend of skiing with our two boys. Everyone loved staying in at night with the wood fire and playing games at the log table right next to the wood stove. We also walked down to Annie's one night, only a 3 minute walk, nice atmosphere and good food. Will most likely come back next winter.

Nice place to stay
There were four of us staying here for a grouse hunting trip. This place had plenty of space for us. It was clean and well furnished. It was having a bar/restaurant within walking distance. We had good food and good service at Annie’s Trading Post. It seemed to us that this place must have hot water on demand instead of a hot water heater because even with four guys showering every night we never ran out of hot water. We arrived earlier than planned but the rental agent Jessica helped us out. If this place is available next year, we would definitely rent it again.

Very nice cabin, cozy and comfortable.
We stayed at the cabin the last week of August, and were very happy the cabin has central air. We used the fire pit to make samores, very enjoyable. The only drawback is that you are not directly on the lake, but the yard is very private. Would rent again.

This cabin was so much more than we expected! So cozy & quaint! We rented it for the weekend to take our grown children skiing nearby. It was very easy to find, close to everything we needed and despite staying in winter, the view of the lake was terrific! Very reasonable for all that it offers. Cozy and cute cabin in UP!
We stayed at this property between Christmas and New Years. Cabin was great, clean and cozy. I would say the only negative I found was the sheets and bedding left a little to be desired. They could stand to all be replaced. Great communication with manager and great price!
