Horrible experience, will never stay here again and quite possibly will avoid all Holiday Inn Express. We reserved a queen suite with 2 queen beds and a couch with pull out for our family of 4. Got back late after softball tournament to find out the shower did not work at all. Tried to call front desk…phone in the room did it work. My husband went down to the desk and was told he would call maintenance and they would be up in 10 minutes. 30 minutes go by and nothing. He went BACK down to the front desk and was told they wouldn’t be able to look at it until the next day. I’m the meantime he gave us a new room…down the hall. My husband went to check out the room only to notice it only had one king bed, which would not accommodate our family of 4. Another trip down to the front desk. We were told there were no other rooms available and we would just have to walk down the hall to that room to shower. This is unacceptable. We tried to contact corporate that night, the first time got hung up on while on hold and the next time someone picked up after being on hold and hung up. By this time it is almost 1AM…we would have been better off just making the drive back home and back the next day for the rest of the tournament. At no time was a manager available. The next morning we were told the manager would not be in until noon. We left a name and number to be contacted about the incident and never got any calls. Horrible customer service. Also, the night clerk swore at my husband.
