Wish I could give staff and service an extra star! We had a personalized greeting and were welcomed with champagne. The room itself was fantastic, and the breakfast was top notch! As for the location, it is only a short walk to the Hakodate Ropeway, and other tourist areas along the waterfront, making it the perfect location. An excellent stay! <3

Service is second to none with personalized assistance. Excellent front desk services, with special mention for Mr. Jang who managed all of our restaurant reservations and city guidance. Breakfast food and service is superb.

Very Convenient Villa
A must stay! Villa has only 10 rooms! Very big, comfortable and clean. Rooms has a kitchen, furo bath, large beds and a living room area. Walking distance to the Hakodate Ropeway and Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse. The jujigai tram stop is a block away. I would definitely stay here again if I'm going to Hakodate.

Most comfortable bed!
The biggest room and the most comfortable bed I have had in Japan. The service is impeccable and the location is stellar. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here. I will definitely be back! If you want to eat in the hotels 6th floor restaurant make sure to make a reservation the day before.

Simply the Best in Hakodate
Location: Villa Concordia is located right under the foot of Mount Hakodate. It takes 5 minutes to get to the roapway. Room: My room was extremely spacious even by American standard and exremely clean even by Japanese standard. I couldnt even find one string of hair on the carpet. The facilities are a little bit dated though. Staff: The hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. They might not be very good at English but they try their best to communicate. I have to mention that I accidentally damaged one pillow case, the hotel manager went to my room and checked the damage immediately after I told him about this and helped me filled out the insurance form. I was touched by it. Overall: Well worth every dime you spend here. I LOVED it.

Best hotel I have stayed at in Japan.
Other hotels in Japan could take note of this small hotel. It is spacious and rooms are all different and not boring. The only improvement it could make is include CNN and/or BBC World on the excellent TV.

Nice hotel close to major sights seeing spot
Booked executive room with a lot of space, nicely furnished. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to the Hakodate mountain, beautiful views from the top of the mountain. Hotel has a French restaurant offer excellent breakfast; staff are friendly with limited English

Quiet place hidden in blocks of old building
It took me a while to find the hotel, and when I first saw it I felt bad, to be honest. It was an old, small building, surrounded by more old building. After I checked in and went into the room, however, I was shocked. The room was HUGE, beautifully decorated, and with many amenities/facilities. The drinks in the fridge are all FREE, including beers and wines. It even had a kitchen. Overall, this is the best hotel I have ever been, given the relatively low price.

Lovely hotel
Amazing room (did smell of smoke but that seems to be common in Japan) with so much space. Incredibly helpful and courteous staff. Great location for all the main tourist attractions (less than five minutes to the cable car to Mt Hakodate).

Outstanding aparthotel
This small apartment-hotel is wonderful. I fully recommend it. The rooms are large even by international standards. They're designed in small suite format: Bed, large table, lounge, huge bathroom with tub and floor shower, generous closet, small kitchen, even a small balcony. Furnishing is like a luxury apartment and attention to detail is everywhere: Fresh coffee beans and grinder, welcome sweet, a jazz CD, wireless router in the room, even unique tea cups. The manager obviously puts great pride in the hotel and it shows everywhere. For me it was great value, worth more than the price. I'd certainly recommend it to solo travellers and couples. It may not be ideal for families. The rooms are decorated in a "city professional" style and the sofa does not convert to a bed, at least in my room.

スタッフのサービスはとても丁寧でした。部屋も広くて、快適です。ただ坂にホテルがあるので、冬は出かけると足元が滑りやすく、注意が必要かもしれません。あと私の部屋からも、窓から函館山が見え、とても良いビューなのですが隣家が近く、風呂に窓があっても丸見えのように感じました。女性は気になるかもしれませんね。

ステキなお部屋でした❤️
とても静かでお部屋も広く清潔でした！ お台所にもう少し小さな取り皿を2枚ほど置いてあればなお良かったかと思います！ お掃除無しの優雅な別荘に滞在した気分でした！ 朝食も指定時間に合わせて炊き立てご飯で、函館ならではの食材の品でした。6階からの函館山の景色を楽しみながら美味しくいただきました！

広くて綺麗！対応も親切丁寧！
宿泊するにあたり、ネットで検索した結果、 こちらのホテルを予約しました。 お部屋は贅沢な程広く、清潔に保たれており、 又、対応もとても礼儀の良い、気持ち良く 利用させて頂きました。 駐車場の利用料金が、無料だったのも印象が 良かったのですが、女性の方がメインに対応 されているからでしょうか、駐車場の草刈りが 行き届いていると、更に満足出来たと思います。
