The owner of this property is beyond rude, condescending, and threatening. The waiver of liability that you will be forced to sign prior to arrival (AND-- DONT YOU DARE ASK FOR A HARD COPY!! SHE WILL TREAT YOU WITH THE UTMOST CONTEMPT!) is ridiculous. You give away any rights whatsover...so that if anything happens, as in, for example your death- for any reason! -on their property- it is your fault.The hostility-and threatening manner of this woman is beyond belief. Don't you dare go down the driveway--which I guarantee your GPS WILL(!!!!) absolutely lead to you--you will be threatened to be kicked out. She will then tell you there is a really scary motel down the street she can send you to, if she cancels your reservation. I stayed 1 night out of the 2 I booked and paid for indavance. WHY? because the manner in which we were threatened and intimidated (she PROFILED me on line prior to our checkin!) was such that I DID NOT FEEL SAFE STAYING THERE. Absolutely DO NOT STAY HERE.

Hidden gem
The clean comfy cozy cabin was perfect for our birthday getaway. The hosts Elexis and Buddy couldn’t have been more helpful and hospitable. But the animals and abilities to interact and connect made the experience exceptional!

Quaint getaway
Nested in a wooded area on a farm that specializes in rescues, this cabin offers a quaint getaway. You’ll have access to Lake Hartwell, animals to feed and the things to do that the area has to offer. To top it all off, the owners are absolutely amazing humans! A must stay!!!

Perfect Getaway
I brought my wife and our puppy here for a surprise getaway for my wife's birthday and we had a great two night stay. The cabin was adorable and very cozy and the property was gorgeous. We loved meeting (and feeding) all the animals (the donkeys were our favorites :) and so enjoyed going on long walks through the woods with our dogs. The hosts were amazing and very responsive. They also provided great local recommendations for meals out. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful getaway
My wife and I were visiting friends in Clemson and luckily found this hidden jewel rather than staying in a hotel room. Way off the beaten path, tucked back in the woods, and such an awesome place to rest after long days. Farm animals, lake nearby, clean & cozy accommodations...made for a perfect alternative to the hustle & bustle of city life. Elexis is awesome and so hospitable, and we look forward to returning!

Little piece of heaven on earth
Not only the place is amazing cozy and relaxing but Alexis and Buddy are the best hostess you can have The cabin is the cutest and the location is incredible. Everything is like afairy tale the chickens the horses the donky the pig Mimsy and the three cutest dogs Finn Phobe and Agnes . We enjoyed our stay and are planning to clme back

A Beautiful Tranquil Place
The tiny cabin was a little cramped but cute and adequate for 2 people. Sitting on the little porch enjoying the peaceful view was my favorite thing to do. I loved taking walks in the woods alone and feeling safe. The animals, especially the fawns, were so much fun. Hostess is very accommodating.

Our Little Cabin in the Woods
I can not emphasize how wonderful this property is. The host were beyond amazing and the view was unbelievable. If you are looking for time to unplug and unwind this is an amazing place. If you love animals this is the place for you. We will always cherish our little cabin in the woods.

Loved it.
My daugther and I really enjoyed our stay. We spent a day on the lake kayaking and swimming. My daugther also enjoyed feeding all the animals. The cabin was perfect for us two.

Babymoon Relaxation
My husband, Olde English Bulldogge, and I decided to have a little babymoon and decided this cute little cabin would be the perfect little getaway, and it truly exceeded our expectations! The cabin itself was precious, cozy, and all we needed. The hosts were super nice and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the sweet animals! We would love to come back and either stay at the cabin again or another one of the rentals on the property, and highly recommend it to others!

Great farm environment!
Absolute wonderful location. Close to Hartwell but isolated enough to provide necessary stress relief. Elexis and Buddy could not have been better hosts. Our westie is still recovering from our hikes, fire pit and visits with the farm critters.

What a wonderful time we had. It was quiet and relaxing. My daughter had fun feeding the animals every morning. We had bonfires every night. And the owners are such good people. Thumbs up !! We will return with friends.

What a lovely spot to get away to
Just as described, this adorable little cabin was clean and comfy for myself and my two daughters and our old dog. Loved the camp fire and watching the stars at night, and we all enjoyed visiting with the animals and walking down to the lake. Our hosts are lovely people who made us feel very welcome. Wonderful Getaway
I needed some personal time away and found this cabin on VRBO, and am so glad I did! The cabin was so comfy and cozy, and tucked away in the woods -- the fire ring and grill were right in front of it. I even had cell phone service (T-Mobile) so was able to watch a little football! The property is beautiful and picturesque, ranging from woods to pastures, and lake, with fabulous hosts and plenty of animals, each with a story. I'll definitely be back!

Always Love Our Stays Here
We have always enjoyed staying at Spotted Fawn Farm and this was our first stay in the cabin. It was cozy and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We find all the lodging options here to be super clean and each is charming and well decorated. Extra bonus we were able to use the kayaks to visit family who live a little further down the lake. Thanks and we hope to return soon!

We had an incredible time. The hard work and attention to detail the owners have done to the area is appreciated and we enjoyed everything! The cabin was adorable, spotless and so very relaxing! The animals were entertaining; make sure you read ahead so you can take treats to share! It is definitely a place where you can sincerely enjoy nature and de-stress! The property is beautiful. The animals are adorable. The owners are extremely nice & responsive. My dog absolutely loved it! He’d never seen a pig & that was pretty funny when the pigs came to visit us. My girls loved exploring on the property 😊 Being a coffee lover, I enjoyed Common Ground Coffee. I’m fairly picky & I have to say their coffee is at the top of my list. If you like to hike I recommend Payne’s Creek. The hiking trail wraps around the lake. It’s not too difficult & very beautiful/peaceful!

Elexis and Buddy were gracious hosts and the farm was beautiful. The pictures do not do the farm justice. Animals were gentle with our three year olds and they loved walking the expansive property. The cabin is like living in a tiny house, so prepare accordingly. Beds were very comfortable and the place was very clean. Elexis responded quickly to any emails sent before we arrived and was very helpful upon arrival. There is a large covered kitchen that has comfortable seating and WiFi since cell coverage is limited on the farm. We are already looking forward to another trip next year.

Amazing experience for all ages!
Our family wanted somewhere to unwind, but didn't want the same old trip. This farm is amazing. You get to wake up to pigs outside your cabin. The pigs and turkeys followed us around like puppies. There are plenty of other animals too, like horses, pigs, sheep, donkeys and a large tortoise. Also the owners' sweet puppies. The owners are great as well. My kids didn't want to leave. One of them was crying as we drove away. We'll be back for sure! Thank you Elexis and Buddy!

Spotted Fawn Farm was the most amazing experience. This property is simply magical, we met a new furry friend every day! My son didn’t want to leave, and his Mama didn’t either😌.
