The Lee Glamping Tent

Guests can sneak away for a peaceful stay in this glamping tent surrounded by green pastures near Dugspur, Virginia. Inside, the cozy double bed accommodates two guests comfortably.

Inside, guests will find all the essentials provided including towels, comfortable bedding, linens, and soap. Kitchen supplies, such as utensils, pots, and pans, are also provided. Outside, guests will find a propane-fueled, two-burner stove, perfect for brewing some tea each morning. The barbecue is also great for cooking delicious dinners. The ice cooler helps fridge products stay cool until cooked. There is also an intimate breakfast table and two chairs. The tent is lit with solar and regular lanterns and candles. There is no running water, but guests are provided with plenty of drinking water.

On the deck, there are two comfortable chairs looking out over the fields. Glampers can enjoy a morning cup of coffee taking in the views of the surrounding countryside, or in the evenings, this is the perfect spot for relaxing with a cool beer after a busy day filled with activities as the sun sets over the stunning backdrop.

There is parking at the site. A Coleman grill and fire pit are available with a picnic table and two wooden lawn chairs. There is a compost toilet on site and a solar-heated outdoor shower about 50 yards from the property. For a great accommodation inspired by the world of glamping, Lee Farm is the place to be enjoyed.

The Glamping tent is situated on 170 acres of farmland which includes pastures, woodlands, and two ponds.

Our wish is that people in need of a break discover our place (the Lee Farm). Many have found us and returned time after time. The cottage, glamping tent, gypsy caravan are listed individually. Booked together, they provide a desirable destination for family gatherings. This is an ideal situation where parents can relax and children are safe to explore.

You may enjoy the other properties on Lee Farm. You can find listings for the Cottage (290033) and the Gypsy Caravan (2273827) on the Vrbo site!

"Best of both"
This would be our first glamping experience. We drove in on Friday, unpacked, then spent a good time sitting on the deck reading, while spotting dear and turkeys grazing. We then took a walk through the field, which has many paths to choose from. We chose the one that took us by the pond, the gypsy wagon and the Lee homeplace. It was so peaceful. Although we had stayed with the Lee's before, (the pink cottage)and walked the path previously, a new bridge had been added and also an arbor. It just added to this already storybook setting! We came back refreshed, and prepared our dinner, then got ourselves tucked in for the night. We fell asleep to the sounds if crickets singing. When booking, we wanted to wake up on the first day of fall in this serene setting. A surprise to us was that it wasnt to get out of the mid 50's, and along with that..rain! Theresa greeted us that morning and offered the cottage to us, which we happily took. We packed up, along with my spice cake in hand, that Theresa baked for us. (It was wonderful!). To the pink cottage we went. We very much enjoyed our first time there, and this time was no exception...and with fresh flowers from her garden. Harley, our dog enjoyed it as well. He was free to play and see the cows and sheep. Hearing their bells in the quiet countryside was such a sweet tune. We hope to come back again, to try out the glamping experience. I know whichever we choose, Theresa and Brian will make us feel right at home.

Ultimate tranquility
The Lee tent is an incredible stay. We woke to bells of the sheep and the cows kept us company. It’s incredible how something so still and mundane can bring such calmness and peace. It’s a great way to clear your head, meditate, and observe. Theresa and Brian were so attentive and responsive to anything we needed. OH! And the cake she leaves for the guest was absolutely divine with coffee. Will be returning!

Stunning Property With Lovely Hosts
Theresa and Brian's property is just stunning - Theresa was the most gracious host and made us feel welcome our entire stay - she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable - we had a most relaxing time walking the beautiful property. Theresa even took us to a neighboring property so my 3 y.o. daughter could see the baby sheep. The glamping tent is well equipped with everything you need to cook on the fire/gas grill and they provided enough water for our stay. The compost toilet/outhouse is steps away from the tent. This is a place we will be returning as it was that memorable!

Autumnal Bliss
We loved this property. The "off-the-grid" feel without losing too much of the basics. The property was beautiful and close to many hikes. Was a little confused pulling in to the property, but that was no one's fault but my own for arriving at almost midnight. Theresa was EXTREMELY thoughtful! It was about 40 degrees that night and she made sure we were set for a cold night by providing little guide lights, plenty of gas for the portable heater, and a heating pad (felt covered pack of hot water) to keep our sheets nice and warm through the night! Would absolutely stay again.

Camping without the hassle
Beautiful location, Theresa is fantastic. Probably best to not count on the solar shower but other than that, great property and area. Plenty of wildlife and the New River Bike trail was great.

Peaceful Getaway
We had such a wonderful time for a few days at The Lee, Theresa and Brian are so sweet. They gifted us some Ginger bread that was fantastic and even brought us another chair for the fire. The tent was stocked with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the outdoor shower, it was so peaceful to be able to look out over the land while we showered. We are definitely going to try and make our way back soon!

If the pics leave you breathless...just wait!
The views from this setting are almost beyond description. Bucolic and pastoral naturally spring to mind. But to experience this place is also peaceful, restorative, and even spiritual. Theresa and Brian are the perfect hosts to compliment this environment. They are kind and attentive and you can tell they love this land that they chose to live on. I chose The Lee for our stay because I'd always wanted to try a glamping experience. The tent is arranged beautifully and is cozy and comfy and perfect. It's like staying in a boutique hotel that is outdoors and facing the blue mountains and rolling green hills where cows graze lazily. Theresa invited and encouraged us to walk the property. We explored and were mesmerized. It's woodland, farmland, and natural land. There are ponds and little brooks running along the hills. You'll hear birds sing in the morning and frogs sing you to sleep. There are 2 other properties Theresa & Brian have listed on VRBO. One is a cute little converted wagon (think tiny house - and be sure to ask Theresa to share the story on this one with you!) and the other is wonderful little pink cottage. This would be the perfect destination for a group friends, or an extended family to gather and stay in each of these properties. Everyone all in the same place, but in different accommodations according to preference. I'm planning such a visit with my family very soon. I picked this property for the remote location. But don't be scared of the word remote. You are still close enough to gas stations, grocery stores, & restaurants if you need to venture out either by choice or necessity. There is a little deli mart within a couple of miles of the property that sells all the provisions and then some if you run low or forgot something. I feel some places exist purely so we can come visit and be in wonder and awe. This is one of those places. Come and experience it for yourself.
