“Loved it! Got a tour when we arrived. The host was very helpful. Walking distance to make restaurants and the beach. Not in a loud and crowded area which is always a win, but not too far from “happening” area! Would highly recommend!”

“If you have large luggage (think checked bags or oversized carryon sizes plus backpacks) you may not want to stay in old town. You can’t drive in there and we had to bring our 3 suitcase (one over 60 pounds) up and down about 12 flights of steep stairs. Also, there is ZERO signage of this unit and found it impossible to find. No front desk help or guaranteed courier service offered.”

“Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Leider hat der Abfluss im Badezimmer sehr unangenehm gerochen. Die Lage ist perfekt! Für uns war es sehr anstrengend, das Gepäck die Treppe hochzutragen. Frühstück gibt es in einem Café eine Straße weiter. Das Frühstück dort war leider etwas enttäuschend. Ich rate jedem, nicht die Pancakes zu bestellen. ;) Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.”

“We booked a room with balcony and stayed for 2-night. The room has a very comfy design and is maintained in good condition. Everyday they arrange room clean-up. The Scalini Palace is located in an excellent location, very close to the Main Street, taking us just a few steps to Stradun. It’s esp convenient if you want to take nice photos of old town in very early morning. No lift, same as many other hotels/apartments in the old town, so you have to walk upstairs to the floor you stay.……

“We’ve stayed here before and we enjoyed it that much we came back. Reasonable prices for the accommodation and good public transport links. Staff are friendly and helpful. The area isn’t as touristy so a quieter place. Would definitely recommend the plaza Slano which is just around the bay. Cheap beer and boat hire that isn’t too expensive with very friendly English speaking staff.”
